The Associazione Autonoma per la Biennale Europea d’Arte Fabbrile – from now on called “The Association” – organizes a MARKET that will take place on 01- 02-03 September 2023 in Via E. De Amicis, Stia (Arezzo) during the event of the Biennale di Arte Fabbrile 2023.



The market will take place starting on Friday 01 September 2023 at 10:00 and will end on Sunday 03 September 2023 at 19:00 and will host for the entire period of its duration about 10 stations.
It will be open to the public every day from about 10:00 to 23:00, except for 03 September when the closing is scheduled at 19:00. Admission to the public is free. All exhibitors will be required to respect the opening and closing times.


  • Hobbyists: non-professional operators who do not engage in any commercial activity, but sell goods to consumers on a sporadic and occasional basis;
  • trade operators.


All participants must submit their registration and the appropriate photographic documentation of the objects offered for sale.

The following products – made through the processing of metals or iron – are allowed at the market:

  • wrought iron jewelry (key chains, bracelets, rings, necklaces…)
  • keys, locks, horseshoes
  • antiques and modern antiques made of iron
  • knives
  • small objects of home décor (small ornaments, hanging hooks, wine bottle holders…)
  • interior and exterior furnishings


The Association will communicate – by email and / or ordinary mail and / or over the telephone – the acceptance of the application form to the subjects who have been selected, by Monday 14 August 2023.


Those who decide, after receiving confirmation of participation, not to take part in the event must promptly send their cancellation by letter and / or email before August 16, 2023.
Failure to pay the registration fee and / or failure to communicate the cancellation after this date imply the renunciation of participation in the event, so only a flat fee of administrative costs corresponding to 50 Euros will be invoiced.

The renunciation for serious and proven reasons (bereavement, illness, etc.) communicated by registered letter and relative medical certificate will give the right to reimbursement. Verbal or telephone communications are not accepted.


Payment must be made no later than Monday 21 August 2023.

Payment must be made by bank transfer on the bank account of the Biennale registered to:

Presso la Banca di Anghiari e Stia Credito Cooperativo S.C.R.L.

Write in the reason for payment “mercatino 2023” followed by the name and surname of the member; send the receipt of the transfer to the Secretariat of the Biennale by e-mail ( no later than the date indicated above.

The refund of the fee paid will be made only in case of cancellation of the event by the organization. In the event that the member renounces or abandons the assigned seat, the organization will not be required to refund the amount paid.


The available stations will be of 2 types:

  • SINGLE station €60,00 for three days,
  • OUBLE station €120,00 for three days.


The Evaluation Commission will examine the requests received, falling into the categories mentioned above, by the deadline of 7 August 2023. The choice of exhibitors and their products is based on selection criteria aimed at protecting the quality of the event and its success, taking into account the following criteria:

  • The sale of goods that stand out for quality and typicality and / or originality;
  • The differentiation of the offer between the goods present;


The Associazione Autonoma per la Biennale d’Arte Fabbrile will communicate by email and/or mail and/or over the telephone, to all the subjects who have submitted the application for participation, the outcome of the selection by August 10, 2023. The subjects admitted to the 2023 edition of the market will receive, in addition to the confirmation of their participation, the plan with the indication of the assigned location.

A list of excluded people will be drawn up by the same commission from which to draw, in case of renunciation or need to remove the accepted operators. This will include all those subjects with allowed products. The list will be drawn up according to the order of the reception of the application forms (postmarks and emails will be the reference points). Excluded exhibitors will be notified of the assignment to this list and indicated the position in the ranking.


  • The participants will arrange themselves according to the instructions given to them by the organizers upon their arrival
  • By workstation we mean a space 2.10m deep with a table with an approximate size of 220×70 cm, and a chair, with an umbrella with a lateral arm; by double station we mean 2 tables side by side
  • Tablecoverswillalsobeprovidedforahomogeneousorganizationoftheexhibition. The space available can be managed independently by the participant as long as he/she sticks to the measures indicated and is aware of the fact that he/she will be fully responsible for any damage to his/her goods and / or people if accidents occur
  • The organization will provide electricity for the sole purpose of illuminating the station: the use of headlights or any other type of high consumption / absorption lighting IS PROHIBITED
  • Waxed tarps and anything else for the planting of objects during the hours when the market is closed are not included

The Association relieves itself of any responsibility with regard to surveillance during day and night hours, or in case of temporary absence of the owner and any damage to things or people if accidents occur.


Exhibitors will be given the opportunity to set up their workstation on Friday 01 September 2023 from 08:00 to 10:00. The dismantling operations must take place on Sunday 03 September 2023 after the official closure of the market.
During the day no vehicle can park in the area of the market. Outside the hours indicated it will NOT be possible to access the exhibition facilities by car.


It is forbidden for the exhibitor to:

  • occupy different or greater spaces than those assigned to him/her

  • transfer whole or part of the assigned spaces without the prior consent of the committee                  they must be used exclusively by the requesting exhibitors

  • use for the setting up staple guns, nails, adhesives, glues or other materials that could damage the exhibition structures

  • leave the location during the event or close early

  • intervene on the electrical system

  • sell and/or display products not indicated in the application for admission

  • apply advertising panels or banners of any type or size

Failure to comply with these rules may result in the exclusion from this event and subsequent events organized by the Associazione Autonoma per la Biennale d’Arte Fabbrile.


In the event that the market, after the opening, should be suspended or interrupted (due to force majeure, bad weather, etc.) the exhibitor will not be entitled – not even partially – to the reimbursement of the expenses incurred and the participation fee.


The organizer declines all responsibility for damage to property or people resulting from atmospheric agents (snow, rain, wind) or from the negligence of the exhibitor.
In addition, exhibitors are responsible for any damage caused to third parties (things or people) in relation to the activity carried out by them in the areas entrusted to them.
It is mandatory for each exhibitor to leave the car park and the surrounding areas reserved for him/her clean and free of waste at the end of the event.
